CLIMATE & DRESS
In Bahrain the months from October to April are really quite pleasant.  During April you can expect an average daytime temperature of around 24 degrees Celsius, rising to a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius.  However, the evening can become quite cool, and a sweater or light jacket may be required.  What little rain Bahrain gets generally falls in the Winter - so you can expect little or no rain during your stay with us.

For gentlemen and ladies business wear will be adequate for the Opening Ceremony and Congress/Conference.  Otherwise modest summer clothing during the day is suitable.  Lounge suit or national dress for evening functions.

CURRENCY
The local currency is the Bahraini Dinar.
BD 1 = US $ 2.65 approximately (fixed Exchange Rate).

ELECTRICITY
The local voltage is 220-240 volts.

WHEN LEAVING BAHRAIN

An airport departure tax of 3 Bahraini Dinars applies (paid at the airport).

LIABILITY
The Organising Committee is not liable for personal accidents or loss or damage of personal property of registered participants during the Congress.  Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
